June 1, 2014 The Student Affairs Division and SEGi Nature Society spent a night at Sungai Chilling, located at the small town of Kuala Kubu Bharu in Selangor from 31st May to 1st June. A total of 46 eager campers, consisting of 42 students and 4 Student Affairs officers set up their tents, some of them for the first time. May 27, 2014 Students from the Optometry and Vision Science Faculty were treated to a talk by contact lenses manufacturer, Alcon, on silicone hydrogel lenses. Contact lenses users are now moving towards silicone hydrogel lenses because it promotes an increase of oxygen, which makes wearing them more comfortable and healthy, when compared to conventional hydrogel lenses. They encouraged fellow students to wear green colored t-shirts to represent nature. The tournament was held at the University of Nottingham Malaysian Campus in Semenyih, Selangor. The team has improved by leaps and bounds, thus enabling them to be the defending champion.
