The awarding institution for the MBBS would be SEGi University College, and the course would take a minimum of five years to complete. SEGi emphasizes on early patient contact, thus students would be exposed to patients and clinical experience from Phase One onwards instead of later years as per expected within the usual medical course. Phase One will consume two years, and will expose students to general medical science subjects that include the likes of Pathology, Anatomy and Community Medicine. Subsequently medical students would undergo Phase Two (one year) and Phase Three (two years) before eventually graduating as a medical doctor.
